Cleaner Full Job Description:

The cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at designated work sites. Duties include dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces. The cleaner must ensure that all areas are kept tidy and presentable at all times. Additional tasks may include emptying bins, restocking cleaning supplies, and reporting any maintenance issues to the relevant supervisor. The ideal candidate will have good attention to detail and be able to work efficiently both independently and in a team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

A cleaner for an independent auto repair shop, duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to,

• Clean and maintain cars and car interiors

• Vacuum carpets, mats and upholstery

• Clean windows, mirrors and other surfaces

• Check tyre pressure and condition

• Replace light bulbs and wiper blades

• Ensure all safety requirements are met

• Ensuring the cleanliness of vehicles

• Vacuuming and wiping down the interior of vehicles

• Cleaning the exterior of vehicles, including washing, waxing and polishing

• Checking and replacing vehicle fluids

• Maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle workshop

• Be prepared to assist in all areas of the business.

The candidate must be dependable and have good customer relations skills. We are looking to fill this role full-time and long term.

Pay: TBA

Shift & Schedule: 07:30 - 17:30 Monday - Friday

08:00 - 13.00 Saturday
